February 26, 2024 – Recently, a set of uncamouflaged real-life images of the upcoming Tesla Model 3 performance variant have surfaced online, sparking excitement among enthusiasts.
According to reports, the new model is rumored to be named the Model 3 Ludicrous and is expected to hit the market sometime in 2024.
The images reveal a familiar closed-off front fascia, which is a hallmark of Tesla’s design language. However, the car sports a refreshed set of headlights paired with a black sport kit underneath, adding a more aggressive and sporty look to the vehicle.
From the side profile, the new Model 3 retains the clean and sleek design of the standard model, featuring uncluttered door panels and large 20-inch wheels that further emphasize its sporty credentials.
Moving to the rear, the car is equipped with a small black rear spoiler and dark-tinted taillights. One notable difference from the current Model 3 Performance is the addition of a “Plaid” badge on the trunk lid, which was previously seen on other high-performance Tesla models, further highlighting the car’s performance capabilities.
In terms of powertrain, it is speculated that the new Model 3 Ludicrous will continue to use a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering a maximum output of 534 horsepower. This setup is expected to propel the car from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.3 seconds, while offering a driving range of over 500 kilometers.
