October 16, 2026 – AITO has announced that it plans to enter the European market in autumn 2027 and gradually expand into other global markets. Kang Bo, director and vice president of Seres Group, confirmed the timeline during an interview with CCTV Finance at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The brand is currently advancing regulatory compliance certification and local operations, with European-spec models under development.
AITO’s EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval (WVTA) process has officially begun, and the company is also targeting a five-star rating under Euro NCAP 2026.

At the Paris Motor Show, AITO exhibited under the theme “Intelligence Redefining Luxury,” bringing the M9, M8, M7 and M6, along with its MF platform. The M9 has led sales in the above-500,000-yuan segment for 21 consecutive months, the M8 has ranked first in the 400,000-yuan class for six straight months, and the M7 has delivered more than 400,000 units. On January 15, 2026, AITO’s one-millionth vehicle rolled off the production line, reaching the milestone less than three years after the brand was established.
AITO’s European push reflects a broader trend. Chinese new-energy brands have accelerated their expansion into Europe in 2026. In the second quarter, Chinese brands’ share of the European market reached about 10.7 percent, up from 5.7 percent a year earlier, with BYD, Geely, Leapmotor and Chery among the fastest-growing names.
