Samsung Announces Upcoming One UI 6.1 Update Based on Android 14 for Select Galaxy Devices

March 14, 2024 – Samsung has recently announced in a press release that it will commence rolling out the One UI 6.1 system update based on Android 14 to eligible Galaxy devices starting from late March 2024.

According to the press release, the following Galaxy smartphones and tablets will be among the first to receive the update:

Samsung aims to introduce Galaxy AI capabilities to over 100 million Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and wearable devices by the end of 2024. With the One UI 6.1 update, these devices will gain access to a range of new features such as Browsing Assistant, Chat Assistant, Circle Select Search, Generative Editing, Instant Slow Motion, Translator, Real-time Translation, Note Assistant, and Transcription Assistant.
