Apple Reigns Supreme: 2024 Global Brand Value Surges to $516.6 Billion

January 17, 2024 – In today’s news, according to media reports, the internationally renowned third-party brand valuation and consulting firm Brand Finance has unveiled the Global Brand Value 500 for the year 2024. Apple secured the top position with a brand value of $516.6 billion (approximately ¥37,182 billion).

The organization emphasized that Apple has achieved remarkable growth in brand value this year, experiencing a staggering increase of $219 billion (74%) to reach $516.6 billion. This absolute dominance has reclaimed the title of the world’s most valuable brand.

Despite the iPhone’s sales stabilizing, Apple’s strategic initiatives to explore new markets, expand its ecosystem, and encourage users to upgrade to higher-value iPhones have proven highly effective. Apple continues to maintain its position in the premium smartphone market, commanding a substantial 71% market share.

According to the latest report from market research firm IDC, in 2023, Apple surpassed Samsung for the first time in its history, becoming the global leader in the smartphone market with a 20.1% global market share. Additionally, Apple stands out as the only company among the top three consistently achieving positive growth each year.

Notably, on January 15, Apple’s official website witnessed an uncommon price reduction. The Chinese website introduced a limited-time “Chinese New Year Special” promotion, featuring a maximum discount of ¥500 on all models of the latest iPhone 15 series.
