March 19, 2025 – Apple has officially ceased signing iOS 18.3.1, marking the end of the possibility for iPhone users who have already upgraded to iOS 18.3.2 to revert to the previous version.

A review of the updates reveals that Apple released iOS 18.3.2 on March 10th, addressing an issue where some streaming content failed to play. Currently, iPhone models compatible with iOS 18 can only download and run iOS 18.3.2.
Apple routinely discontinues signing older iOS versions, typically within a couple of weeks after releasing a new update. Once Apple stops signing an update, the update can no longer be installed on iPhones due to server-side software verification checks, thereby preventing users who have updated to the latest iOS version from downgrading.
