August 19, 2025 – Just two weeks after increasing the prices of its cameras by up to $800, Fujifilm has issued another price – adjustment warning to its U.S. customers. According to a statement provided by the company to DPReview, due to “severe fluctuations in market conditions,” Fujifilm will “make further price adjustments.”

The new price changes are set to take effect on August 30. However, at present, details remain scarce. It’s still unclear how many camera models or lenses will be affected and the exact amount of the price hikes. Nevertheless, Fujifilm has confirmed that the recently launched X Half camera, priced at 850,andtheX−E5camera,withapricetagof1699, will be exempt from this round of price increases.
It’s worth noting that last month, U.S. President Donald Trump reached a trade agreement with Japan. Under this pact, a 15% tariff will be imposed on imported goods from Japan. In its statement, Fujifilm said, “While dealing with the current market situation, Fujifilm is making every effort to work hand – in – hand with our retailers and consumers to weather this storm.”
