May 27 2025 – The CEO of Figure, Brett Adcock, took to Twitter two days ago to announce that the company’s new-generation humanoid robot, F.03, has “officially started walking.”
Adcock emphasized in his tweet, “This is the most advanced hardware system I’ve ever seen,” indicating his high hopes for this new robot. Subsequently, he revealed that Figure is currently hiring hundreds of positions, including multiple AI engineers.
From the accompanying image, we can glimpse a human-like silhouette faintly visible through frosted glass. A warning sign on the glass reads, “F.03 Bear Cave, Keep Closed,” adding an air of mystery to the product’s unveiling.

While the image confirms that F.03 adopts a bipedal form, specific design details remain under wraps.
Back in March this year, Figure confirmed that the overall design of its third-generation robot had been completed. The company highlighted cost control and large-scale production capabilities as the core focuses of this model, planning to utilize injection molding and die-casting processes.
As the designated iterative model of Figure 02, the development progress of F.03 has garnered significant attention. Meanwhile, its predecessor, Figure 02, is undergoing testing at a BMW factory. According to the company’s statement, Figure 02 recently completed a 20-hour continuous operation.
Although Figure has not yet released a complete video of F.03 walking, the news of its bipedal walking capability indicates that the company is maintaining a rapid pace of development. For any novel humanoid robot platform, achieving a stable gait represents a crucial breakthrough.
