Apple’s Vision Pro Patent Unveiled: Tailor Screen Position & Angle for Ultimate Comfort

May 23 2025 – Yesterday, on May 22, the well-known tech media outlet patentlyapple unveiled a blog post revealing that Apple has secured a new patent related to the design of its Vision Pro headset. The primary objective of this patent is to enhance the wearing comfort of the device.

According to the blog post, the core innovation of this patent lies in the ability to adjust the position of the screen. The headset comprises a display unit and a securing strap. Users wear the headset using the strap, positioning the screen directly in front of their eyes.

Equipped with both automatic actuators (such as motors) and manual actuators (like knobs, buttons, and sliding mechanisms), the headset allows users to precisely fine-tune the screen’s position based on their personal preferences, the type of activity they’re engaged in, their body posture, and the surrounding environment.

Moreover, the headset offers multi-angle adjustment capabilities, further elevating comfort levels. This feature ensures that it can cater to users with various facial characteristics and accommodate a wide range of usage scenarios.

In addition, there’s a possibility that the headset will incorporate sensors and additional actuators to detect the user’s gaze direction. By leveraging this gaze data, the device can automatically adjust the angle between the display screen and the facial interface. This intelligent design not only enhances the overall wearing comfort but also dynamically optimizes the visual experience according to the user’s activities or postures.
