July 17, 2025 – On the 15th local time in California, up – and – coming American electric vehicle (EV) firm Lucid made an announcement regarding its advanced driver – assistance system (ADAS), DreamDrive Pro. The system is on the verge of a significant upgrade.

After the update, DreamDrive Pro will gain the capability to offer hands – off driving assistance as well as lane – changing assistance on compatible multi – lane highways. This marks a major leap forward in the system’s functionality, bringing it closer to a more autonomous driving experience.
The first model to receive this over – the – air (OTA) update is expected to be the Lucid Air, with the rollout scheduled for July 30. As for the Lucid Gravity, it will be equipped with these new features later in the year, allowing its drivers to also enjoy the enhanced driving assistance provided by the updated DreamDrive Pro system.
