Yesterday, BMW announced its comprehensive 360-degree AI strategy for China, encompassing three main pillars: AI-focused enhancement of user experience, AI-empowered business process optimization, supply chain collaboration for mutual success, and a corporate philosophy centered around AI.

Today, BMW Group confirmed a strategic partnership with Alibaba Group in the field of AI in China. The two companies will jointly develop cutting-edge technologies such as AI large language models and intelligent voice interaction, aiming to provide forward-thinking solutions tailored to the needs of Chinese users.
The collaboration will focus on technologies like large language models, with Alibaba Cloud’s Tongyi large model set to be implemented in BMW’s new-generation vehicle series in the Chinese market.
