Adopting Apple’s Platform Tactics: Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Revealed with Diverse AI Assistant Options and Skills

July 31, 2025 – During a recent interview with Bloomberg, Won-Joon Choi, the head of Samsung’s smartphone division, revealed that future Galaxy smartphones will offer users a wider array of AI models and capabilities.

Bloomberg interpreted this announcement as a sign that Samsung is set to follow in Apple’s footsteps with its upcoming Galaxy S26 series. In addition to Google’s Gemini, the tech giant may introduce other AI assistants, allowing users to pick their preferred AI model.

Sources also disclosed that Samsung has developed an AI framework capable of supporting multiple AI models and assistants. Through this framework, the company aims to boost the competitiveness of its AI offerings. This involves not only expanding the number of AI models, agents, and skills but also ensuring a seamless user experience.

Choi further hinted during the interview that Samsung is in talks with several AI companies and suggested that more details will be unveiled ahead of the Galaxy S26 series launch.
