Jensen Huang: AI to Outpace Internet in Creating Millionaires Within 5 Years

July 30, 2025 – During an episode of the All-In podcast hosted by Chamath Palihapitiya, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang made some bold statements about artificial intelligence (AI), calling it “the greatest technological equalizer in history.” He went on to predict that AI will produce more millionaires in the next five years than the internet did over two decades.

Huang emphasized that in the age of AI, programming is no longer limited to those with specialized knowledge of languages like C++ or Python. Instead, he argued that the traditional barriers to coding have been eliminated, as people can now achieve their goals simply by conversing with AI systems. “Every individual is now an artist; every person is a writer,” he said.

The NVIDIA leader also addressed concerns about AI’s impact on employment. Far from being a job destroyer, Huang claimed that AI is actually creating new opportunities. “In my view, AI generates work by enabling people to produce things that others want to buy. This drives growth, which in turn fuels more employment—it’s all interconnected,” he explained. He reiterated his belief that AI represents the ultimate leveler, giving everyone a chance to succeed regardless of background.

Looking ahead, Huang expressed concern that society isn’t generating jobs fast enough to keep pace with technological change. He warned that those who fail to embrace AI risk being left behind, as they will eventually be replaced by individuals who understand and leverage this powerful tool. His message was clear: AI isn’t just transforming industries—it’s reshaping the very nature of work itself.
